about

Like most of the tracks on "Players", I demoed the music for this on 4-track. After we'd recorded it (with some lovely unguarded lyrics, for once), we never played it again.

Why? Maybe it was too emotional and open for a group of spotty and sarcastic young chaps?

Or maybe we just got bored of a song even quicker than we usually did?

about

Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known ... more as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
Johnny Domino played their final gig on December 23, 2006 at The Vaults, Derby. less
