about

During the recording of "Rabbit Themes" we were playing live a fair bit (for us, anyway). While we were working on 'creating a set', we'd occasionally dip into 'the songbook' and polish off an old gem.

Now I LOVE the original version of this track (as heard on the "4th Butch Master" E.P.) but I don't hate this re-do.

It's a bit more polished and we still managed to get a lot of music on there. I know Marc used to play the 2nd guitar part on the few times we played an edited version of this live, but according to the sleevenotes, that's not him on here. Nice bells.

about

Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known ... more as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
Johnny Domino played their final gig on December 23, 2006 at The Vaults, Derby. less
