about

Again, another song we rehearsed for a long time (yes, even the bizarre backing-vocals).

We really failed to get this song right, I think - the drum machine is particularly swampy and draggy. It worked a lot better when we played it live.

We actually tried to re-record this when we were doing "Solid Ground" a couple of years later - no-one has ever heard it so I guess we didn't get it then either.

The bit of random music at the end was recorded live (to Mini-Disc!) at a rehearsal at my parents' house - the things we did for fun!

Can't remember how long the actual recording went on for.

about

Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known ... more as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
Johnny Domino played their final gig on December 23, 2006 at The Vaults, Derby. less
