about

Recorded January 1994.

John Richardson on Drums, Albert Atkin on Twang Guitar, Steve on Acoustic, Giles on vocals, along with everyone else. I'm the person who loses his voice at the very end.

Maybe it was just the circles that we moved in, but there always seemed to be someone at Uni who was always talking about some amazing bong that they had. In my first year I shared a house with a bunch of pharmacology students.

One of their friends had a bong which he called "Einstein" - this was water-cooled through a Liebig condenser which had been 'liberated' from some college lab or other.

"The 60s weren't that good / Long hair is conventional" - this section applies broadly to a particular type of person, possibly to this day.

about

Johnny Domino Derby, UK

Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
Johnny Domino played their final gig on December 23, 2006 at The Vaults, Derby.
