I have no idea why the pub was playing EMF so loud before our set. This gig is from 2004 not 1994 (and that song would be out of date even then).
Once we started doing gigs with a real-live drummer, we got to the point where we didn't bother soundchecking before gigs - we'd just set up, do a quick line-check and then make up a quick droney jam (usually in the same key as the first track, like we did here). That's my Grade 8 Music Theory in action right there.
Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known
as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
