about

Finished in January 1996.

Quite a simple song, with lyrics inspired by Giles' love of chop-socky movies and comics. Some of the lines may even be taken from the classic 1978 Jackie Chan film.

I always intended to include this in "The Best of the Shithouse Masters" when we first put it online but it probably seemed a bit indulgent to go over CD length.

But one of the great things about Bandcamp is that you can be as indulgent as you like! So here you go.

We re-recorded this track for the Mini LP that we released on Blackbean & Placenta (USA) in 1999.

about

Johnny Domino Derby, UK

Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
Johnny Domino played their final gig on December 23, 2006 at The Vaults, Derby.
