Finished January 1996.

Giles on synth and vocal, Steve on everything else.

I seem to remember recording the basic music (acoustic and synth), just to shut Giles up - he could obviously hear something in this little doodle that I couldn't. Thank you for your golden ears, bro.

I think the vocals were recorded while I was away at Uni - Giles did some weird over-lapping vocals by 'punching in' over the same track (which also had some synth bits on), so it sounds like crazy tape splices.

I added the detuned bass guitar bit afterwards - the feedback was purely from my headphones - don't worry we weren't inflicting too much noise on our parents / neighbours.

about

Johnny Domino Derby, UK

Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
Johnny Domino played their final gig on December 23, 2006 at The Vaults, Derby.
