about

The titular heroes here are Ricky Wilson and Fred Schneider of Athens Georgia New Wave pop giants The B-52's. Johnny Domino were always a broad church as far as influences were concerned but The B-52's, especially their 1983 synth-pop album "Whammy!", was something we all agreed on.

This was our attempt to write something similar and it became one of our longest-serving songs.

Having said that, I've got no idea what the lyrics are going on about!

about

Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known ... more as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
Johnny Domino played their final gig on December 23, 2006 at The Vaults, Derby. less
