about

Jeff was a great drummer. The intro to this song was probably one of our ultimate 'clever clever' moments - when the beat moves back (or is it forwards?) half a step. It took us ages to get it down with a drum machine but Jeff got it right off the bat.

In earlier times Marc used to play a second guitar part on this track. But he looked like he was enjoying himself too much, so we stopped playing it.

When we brought it back into the set we made him play keyboards. It's astonishing that he put up with us for so long!

about

Johnny Domino Derby, UK

Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
Johnny Domino played their final gig on December 23, 2006 at The Vaults, Derby.
