about

Recorded September 1994.

Lyrics (I think) inspired by Oliver Stone's AWFUL film "The Doors".

Giles is on lead guitar, I'm on acoustic - another example of us recording a song without a click track, which made the two-man drum performance quite a challenge.

My mother walked in just as we were revving up for the big finish - which is why you hear me say "Hi Mum".

about

Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known ... more as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
Johnny Domino played their final gig on December 23, 2006 at The Vaults, Derby. less
