about

A bit of what we call 'lo-fi arsing about'.

Sometimes I would record a bit of music which I thought just sounded FUNNY, adding more and more ridiculous sounds and solos.

The vocals here include a recording of German vowel sounds that I copied from my Uni Music library, and various sounds that Giles recorded on his Dictaphone, mostly in the Blessington Carriage pub in Derby where we were spending a lot of time at this point.

about

Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known ... more as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
Johnny Domino played their final gig on December 23, 2006 at The Vaults, Derby. less
