about

Finished sometime before May 1996.

The single of "Abracadabra" by Steve Miller came out in 1982 - I have a very strong memory of our older cousin Daryl (later immortalised on the inner sleeve of "Players") singing this song as he mercilessly scored endless goals against us.

The guitar solo on the original always sounded like it was recorded in the future - it seemed funny to try to replicate it in some way on our crappy home set-up.

about

Giles and Steve formed JOHNNY DOMINO in the summer of 1993.
Over the next 3-4 years they recorded over 100 songs (known ... more as THE SHITHOUSE MASTERS) on a series of knackered 4-track recorders, drafting in other players on an ad-hoc basis.
Long-term SHITHOUSE alumni Jim became a full-time Domino in 1996, followed by Marc.
Johnny Domino played their final gig on December 23, 2006 at The Vaults, Derby. less
